So I went rogue in Alaska and never quite came back to stationary life.
I'm going back out with a vengeance, and will be traveling for most of next year. More on that later, but for now:
I've been curating a large group show of all the artists who have lived in my wonderfully bizarre apartment building over the years
, and the show opens at Vermillion Art Gallery and Bar on Thursday, December 12th. Come on out for the opening from 6pm-late. It'll be fun. Promise.
And other recent news:
I was just interviewed as part of
. I took them on a field trip to the Zoo.
And here's what I was up to during my six months of not communicating anything about what I was up to art wise:
What We Make When We're Not Making: An Exploration of Downtime in the Creative Process... As Explained by Hairties.
And yes I am still working on my graphic novel about Antarctica.
But it's going to take me at least a few years, so I have no physical progress to show yet, just a lot of research reading.
